The current school calendar and calendar of preschool social events are listed below. The preschool also strives to host a couple of open-to-the public events throughout the school year. The Family Fun/Open House is an annual event open to the public and alumni.

October 10th/11th Picture Day in the three-day and two-day classes.
October 12th Enrichment activity for two-day class at Vermont Garden Park, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m..
October 13th Dining for Dough at Uno's Pizzeria. Simply dine in or get take-out from Uno's on this day and they will donate up to 20% of the bill to us. Remember to bring your Discovery Preschool coupon!
October 20th-21st No school (VAEYC conference).
October 27th Deadline for the November newsletter.
October 27th Halloween Party in the two-day class (parents welcome for the 9:00 parade!)
October 31st Halloween Party in the three-day class (parents welcome for the 9:00 parade!)
November 1st Enrollment begins for the 2011-2012 school year.
November 8th Moms' Night Out: Trivia Night @ RiRa’s Irish Pub, 7 pm.
November 15th Open enrollment begins.
November 19th Outreach event at the school, with a magician - 10:00 a.m.
November 21-25 No school; parent conferences on the 21st and 22nd.
November 26th Deadline for December newsletter.
December 7th Holiday Party! Brand Hall, Noon - 2 p.m.
December 10th Our book fair at Barnes & Noble. Look for a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board soon.
December 14th Moms' Night Out: Cookie Exchange, 7 p.m.
December 23-30 Early winter break. School resumes January 3rd.
January 16th No school (MLK Day).
